Sinéad Eyre joins QCIF’s finance division

Sinéad Eyre has joined QCIF as a Finance, Project and Administration Support Officer.

Sinéad will work alongside QCIF Finance Manager Joy Byrne, helping her with an increase in government-funded contracts such as work on the Queensland Data Analytics Platform, a genome annotation platform and the Nectar Research Cloud refresh.

“I am really happy to be joining QCIF at this time and look forward to taking on some exciting and challenging projects,” said Sinéad.

From Ireland originally, Sinéad has worked as a project officer in health, education, government, distribution, graphic design, IT and not-for-profit sectors in Ireland, UK, New Zealand and Australia. 

Her last role was at the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute in Brisbane.

She has also worked for The University of Queensland for about five years in a handful of divisions, including the Queensland Brain Institute, School of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Business, Economics and Law, and in Human Resources.
