18/5/23
Date:
Location:
UQ St Lucia Campus
The forum will provide a platform for research software developers to come together to network with their peers, to share ideas and best practices, and to foster the development of a strong local community of practice. The forum will offer participants the opportunity to highlight the depth and breadth of their software development activities and to showcase some of the projects they are working on. We'll discuss the potential for greater cooperation and collaboration within the software developers community, and will hold a knowledge-sharing session to explore solutions to any technical challenges that attendees have encountered. The QCIF/ARDC Research Software Developers Forum will take place in the Global Change Institute at The University of Queensland's St Lucia campus, Thursday, 18 May, 10am to 3pm. There is no cost to attend this forum, and morning tea and lunch will be provided. We encourage you to share this event with any colleagues or contacts who you think might also be interested in joining us. Please contact Mark Crowe (QCIF Skills Development Manager: mark.crowe@qcif.edu.au) for more information or to register for the forum. Registration ends COB Friday, 12 May.
Calling all research software developers, QCIF and ARDC would like to invite you to the Queensland Research Software Developers Forum on Thursday, 18 May 2023.
